By using the Website you accept and agree to be bound by these terms.
General Terms & Conditions
The Website is owned by the Philadelphia School Partnership (“PSP”), a nonprofit institution that is tax exempt under IRS 501[c](3) regulations. The Website is designed to provide users with information to help them find education jobs and professional development opportunities in the city of Philadelphia, learn about certification requirements for teachers and educators, and explore educator preparation programs. The information included on the Website is provided free of charge as a user convenience and is for informational purposes only. PSP shall make every effort to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information that appears on the Website. However, neither PSP nor suppliers of content—whether persons, schools or organizations—which post profiles or information about jobs on the Website shall be liable to you or anyone else for any error, omission, deletion, defect, failure of performance, computer virus, communication line failure, alteration of, or use of any content herein, regardless of cause, or for any damages resulting therefrom.
PSP reserves the right to refuse to post or to remove any information that is, in PSP’s sole discretion, unacceptable or undesirable. This applies both to general users, who may post profile information, and school users, who may post school jobs. By uploading content to profile, including your resume, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant to PSP, only to the extent permitted by law, an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, royalty-free, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, perform, display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part) and distribute such information and content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such information and content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. In exercising this license, PSP shall conform with its Privacy Policy, including the section below labeled “Information We Collect.” PSP authorizes you to view and download the materials on the Website solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
As a user of the Website, you agree (1) to not submit any content that is protected by copyright or otherwise proprietary information of a third party, unless you have the right to do so; (2) the Website and its contents are provided “as is” without any warranty, to the maximum extent permitted by law; (3) any information you submit will be true and correct to the best of your knowledge; and (4) PSP is subject to claims arising from any information that you submit. By using this Website, you understand and agree that PSP does not endorse or certify your credentials nor does it endorse any supplier of content.
Indemnity
As a condition of use of the Website, you agree to indemnify PSP and PSP’s partners from and against any and all liabilities, expenses (including attorneys’ fees) and damages arising out of any and all claims resulting from your use of the Website and the materials (including software) thereon, including without limitation any claims alleging facts that if true would constitute a breach by you of these Terms of Use. This indemnity shall include, without limitation, any claim of inaccuracy or defamation based on materials that you submit for use on the site.
Third-Party Sites
The Website may contain links to school and third-party websites. These links are solely to assist users in applying to jobs, finding professional development opportunities, and leaning about certification and educator preparation programs, and you assume sole responsibility and risk for your use of links to third-party websites. The accuracy or reliability of any of the information of those resources is not endorsed by PSP.
Modification
PSP shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to make improvements and/or changes in any aspect of the Website at any time and does not accept any responsibility for the effects these alterations may have. PSP also reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove terms of this agreement at any time without notice. You agree to review this Agreement periodically since such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon posting and your subsequent use after such posting shall conclusively be deemed to be acceptance by you of such changes, modifications or deletions.

No part of the materials on the Website, including but not limited to the text, graphics and html code, may be reproduced or transmitted in any form by any means without written permission from PSP.

Non-Personal User Data: The Website logs non-personal data such as IP addresses in order to help us understand which content is most visited, analyze trends and patterns, make the site more user-friendly, and improve security. We only use this information in aggregate and do not link it to you personally.
We also collect generic information about our visitors to better understand which browsers they use, how many times various pages of the site are visited, and other trends. This information can include “cookies,” which are small data files that assist in the collection of website-usage information. You may disable cookies in any web browser, usually by going to the browser’s “Preferences” page.
Customer Service Correspondence: We may collect information that identifies you personally when you submit information on a job posting via the website’s “Want to Post a Job” email. In such cases, we will not share your personal information with third parties but may use it to reply to your submission.

Third Parties: We may share personally identifiable information that you have voluntarily provided to TeachPHL.org with third parties only when users have permitted or requested that we do so. An example would be you selecting the option to allow schools administrators to access your profile information and recruit you to apply for a job. We never share your personally identifiable information with third parties for the purpose of marketing, sales promotions or other advertisements intended to encourage the purchase of products or services.

Governmental Orders: We also may have to release personally identifying information when it is necessary to comply with judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants or orders, or to protect the rights, property or safety of TeachPHL.org or its partners.
Removing Your Personal Information: If at any time you want your user account shut down, you may inform us and we will work promptly to remove your account.
